Morning Sign-Out

SCIENCE AND MEDICINE, FOR EVERYONE

Why UC Berkeley Morning Sign Out?

This is the UC Berkeley Chapter of Morning Sign Out, an organization that aims to bring life-changing information to the world. We are students studying at UC Berkeley who possess a variety of backgrounds, all working toward accomplishing the goals of Morning Sign Out together. Our goal is to improve health literacy by making science and medicine more understandable and accessible. We believe that a more health-literate world is a more healthy world. As a society, there is a large divide between the world of medicine and science and that of the greater public. Often, the relationship between the two is strained and distrustful. This endeavor aims to bridge that divide. As with a sign out, we hope to turn science and medicine into something understandable for our readers, with enough critical information that leaves them more knowledgeable than before.
